Still hiding after top surgery?

You told yourself this summer “would be different”.


It’s your first holiday after top surgery, and the moment you’ve spent years dreaming of has arrived.


You get to go shirtless around the pool, wear vests without your binder outing you, and feel the breeze under your shirt.


But you haven’t stuck to your macros since the first week of January, scanned your gym pass since February, and, if you asked someone which progress photo was the before, they couldn’t tell you.


This happened last year. And the year before. AND the year before that.


And the frustration hits you at the same time every year.


The sun starts making an appearance, and your summer wardrobe has been pulled out from under your bed.


What you wanted to do was donate the oversized shirts to charity and buy yourself something tighter around the chest and arms. But there’s no way you feel ready for that.


So, it’s time for another last-minute panic.


A 1,200 calorie diet, 6 Days a week lifting weights, and 2 Hours of cardio a week.


All ending with you giving in after 2 weeks because:


1) Who the hell can keep all of that up?


2) You think it’s too late now, anyway.
